Displaced, Replace, Embrace: Scott Richardson

On the morning of July 21st, 2020 a fire started in Scott's house that turned bad, quickly. 6 of his 7 cats didn't make it. The fire started in the kitchen and quickly spread. This created a block between Scott's room, and his son's (Ray) room. In an attempt to alert his son of the fire, Scott endured bad burns all over his body. He was quickly airlifted to Halifax where he is in an induced coma and waiting for further assessment.
My name is Brandon Richardson and I've created this fundraiser for my father to help aid him and my brother (Ray) with the financial burden this has put on them with being displaced. Due to the smoke and flames, much of what they owned is destroyed and need to be replaced. I am looking to the community for help. Where this family lacks in finances, it makes up in love and support for each other. Despite a terrifying day, we hope we can embrace the support of the community and get them back into a home with the necessities they need.
It is unknown at the current time of Scott's complete condition. We do know that he sustained 25% of his body being burnt and he's in rough shape with further surgeries being scheduled. It is also unknown what the complete impact of this situation is financially for my brother and father. With that, we set an arbitrary number as the campaign goal. It seems rather high, but given his state, we are trying to prepare for a lengthy healing process that will likely come with high costs of things such as physical therapy.
