On Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, a raging four alarm fire forced me from my Yonkers apartment at Glenwood Avenue. This four -alarm catastrophic fire resulted in the loss of all possessions in the apartment; including, clothes, furniture, and most importantly the memories cherished and built within these walls. A single mother of two and a licensed Preschoolers director I am also exceptional grandmother and friend to many. As if 2020 was not bad enough, this could not have happened at a worse time with the holidays that was just right around the corner. Any and all donations, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated to help me begin to rebuild my life.
