Distance Learning Elementary Art Supply Drive

Hey y’all! I’m Lydia Graves aka Mrs. Graves! I teach elementary art at a Title I school in Birmingham Alabama. Our district has decided to start the 2020-2021 school year with a virtual learning plan to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Many of our students live in poverty and do not have access to art supplies for our weekly lessons. As result, I’d love to provide almost 500 students with art supply kits! Each kit will cost about $7 per student and will include the following:

- pencils
- crayons
- markers
- scissors
- glue
- construction paper
-  drawing paper
- 1 folder to create a sketchbook
- watercolor paints

School starts on September 8. My goal is to have the kits ready by August 17.
