Disukad Elementary School, Isabella, Philippines

Hello everyone, my name is Kaya Ygona, and I'm excited to share with you about the fundraiser I'm currently running for an elementary school in Isabella, Philippines . During the pandemic, we successfully organized a fundraiser with your generous support, which allowed us to provide much-needed school supplies to three schools in Isabella.

This time, our focus is on Disukad Elementary School, which is situated in a remote area of Isabella. What makes this school truly special is that 40% of its students are indigenous people, specifically belonging to the Dumagat community. Due to the location of their villages and limited integration with regular schools, it's only been in the past few years that the Dumagat parents have started sending their children to school.

The situation for these children is challenging, and they need our help more than ever. Fortunately, we have a dedicated team of teachers and staff who are ready to assist us in delivering the much-needed school supplies to Disukad Elementary School.

Our goal is to provide school supplies to all 180 students attending the school. Transparency is of utmost importance to us, and we want you to know that your donations will be handled with complete openness. You'll be informed about exactly how and where your funds are being utilized.
