Dixie’s surgery

Meet Dixie Lou. She’s a 6 year old German Shepherd mix, but really she’s just a puppy. Her beautiful, brown eyes are so warm and just scream sweetness. My poor girl recently tore her ACL and then more bad news came to light. She also has hip dysplasia and arthritis in both hips, knees and ankles. Her vet is recommending a surgery known as TPLO and this surgery would not only improve her quality of life, it will help extend this puppy at heart’s life. TPLO would slow the progression of arthritis and unfortunately comes at a great cost. The cost for this surgery is $4,500. After 6-12 weeks of recovery, Miss Dixie Lou will be back to living her best life.
