Dizdar Family Fire New Start Fund

On the afternoon of November 8, 2016, a house fire destroyed the property where Tara and Grace Dizdar had resided in a basement suite for the past 2 months. Uninsured and left with only the clothes they were wearing, they face the daunting task of rebuilding.
I am Tara's mom Leslie Ash, and as I do not have the financial means to help Tara, who is on disability, and my 9 month old Granddaughter as I would like, I wanted to help her in any way possible. This would help my daughter and sweet little girl get back on their feet.
Right now we are focused on finding them a new place to rent. Emergency Services has graciously put up the displaced families in a hotel until Friday, and provided funds for basic hygiene items and some clothing . The Vineyard Church, where Tara and Grace attend have also generously donated some household items.
