DJ (Donald) Dyson-Petrucci

Hi, my name is Amanda Dyson and I'm fundraising for my brother DJ's funeral and memorial expenses.

My brother's life was taken away from us suddenly, at too young of age. He was stabbed and left for dead. He was only 30. His death was senseless and I would never wish this upon anyone.

DJ had his demons, but he was one of the most caring, giving people I know. He would give you his shirt off his back, and literally did one time when an apartment caught fire near us, and one of the victims had no clothes. When we fought, as siblings do, he was always the one who could maintain his composure. He was amazing with kids and loved animals. DJ was creative and artistic. He would always amaze people with his skills of taking things apart and making them work better. He was a quiet soul who loved his friends and family.

DJ leaves behind a large family. Mom Tina, Dad Donald, brothers Christopher and Dominic, sisters Angel, Michelle, and I, and "Megama", grandmother Diana.

But most importantly, he leaves behind his son Floki. Floki is only 4 years old, and now fatherless. DJ was a great father, and only wanted the best for his son. All monies collected over the cost of the funeral/memorial will go in a fund for Floki's future.

Please help me in bringing my brother home to rest. This is a tragedy no one was prepared for, and we need help. Details of arrangements will be posted as soon as possible.
