Dan Zemelman's Stolen Electric Motorbike

Donation protected

From early on in the pandemic, Dan has been out there on the dance floor, grass, dirt, garden, grove, park lawn, wherever the dance was, bringing his battery powered speaker. Soon, he started buying more and better equipment and taking the lead on finding new places for us to safely dance outside. From there, he started a Wednesday night dance and leading us in his own DJ sets.

Just this past Saturday July 31st, Dan's very beautiful and expensive electric motorcycle was stolen from in front of the Synagogue where he was performing in San Francisco. There is video footage of the theft, and the men who pulled up in a car, had the plates to the car removed. They knew what they were doing.

He was deeply saddened to have this happen. After a tough year of little to no work, and just.... well... you know.... pandemic, and just near his birthday. This was very dis-heartning. As his friends, it was dis-heartening for us too.

So with all the love and stability Dan has brought the dance community, I thought it might be a nice gesture to reach out and ask for your support in helping Dan recoup some of the lost costs from this very costly theft.

If you feel inspired to give Dan some love in this way, Lets show him what community love can do....

Warmly and thanks...

Dance community crew

P.S. If the motorcycle happens to be recovered, which appears unlikely according to the police report and time already passed, all monies will be returned.
