Dear friends, music lovers, and supporters of our incredible community,

Our beloved DJ Wax, or as many of you know him, Robert Chandler, has recently suffered a degenerative spinal stroke that has turned his world upside down. His journey to recovery will be long and arduous, and it is with a heavy heart that we inform you that he has been forced to cancel numerous DJ gigs, a source of both his passion and livelihood.

Wax has been an integral part of our local music scene for years, giving us countless memories and moments of pure bliss on the dance floor. His infectious energy and unwavering commitment to his craft and community have touched the lives of so many, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts. Now, it is our turn to rally together and support him in his time of need.

The stroke has left Robert in need of extensive therapy to regain his mobility and independence. Unfortunately, the costs associated with such treatments are staggering, and without a steady income, he is unable to cover them on his own. This is where we can make a difference.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to support Robert's medical expenses, rehabilitation, and necessary equipment. Our goal is to alleviate the financial burden that hangs over him so that he can focus on his recovery and return to the turntables, where he truly belongs.
