Animal Sanctuary Fund

As many of you know, I retired in 2021 in order to make my dream of starting a sanctuary become a reality. I finally found a beautiful piece of land in a little town called Occidental which is about an hour north of San Francisco. We are situated on 10 acres surrounded by redwoods and open pastures, about 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean.

We finally finished construction on the main house and are now ready for construction on the sanctuary. We have many fences that need repairing as well as the installation of brand new fencing. We are also in need of structures for the animals to sleep in at night. As soon as the fences are up, and the structures are built, we can begin taking our first residents!

So for my birthday in April this year I am asking for contributions to Jolene’s Retreat no matter how large or how small in order to start building as soon as possible. Anyone donating at this time will be listed at the sanctuary as founding donors

Our website, Facebook, and Instagram pages are currently in progress and should go live within the next couple of weeks! There you will be able to see the progress of the sanctuary and be able to make donations as well.
