Wheelchair Van

Hello everyone, my name is Sue Hunt & I have a family (personal friend) in desperate need of wheelchair van! The van needs to be equipped to load the wheelchair from the rear door. This is for a young adult (22 years of age), her family is not in a position to financially to get her the transportation she desperately needs. Right now she is not able to go to her programs, her van is dead. They have exhausted themselves financially in repairs and now it is no longer repairable. This young lady is a ray of sunshine born with Cerebral Palsy, she has always been in a wheel chair and she needs to get out to her programs, her many doctor appointments in Vancouver ( 1.5 hours each way) and be able to go for a drive rather than stare at 4 walls or TV. I am creating a Go Fund Me to help this wonderful family obtain a handicap vehicle for their daughter. This family is the very family that stepped up and helped many people in our Community, when anyone needed groceries, gas, rent money, a child’s need for school supplies, seniors gifts at Christmas the list goes on and on.

PLEASE help! Miss “T” needs to go to her learning programs for stimulation and therapy. I know it’s a tall order and a lot of money but my father taught me “take care of your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves”. Very wise words, all small donations add up to a much needed vehicle for her. Please help with whatever you can give. Thank You, Sue Hunt Mission BC Canada
