Clayton George is undergoing close observation in his current medical status at Strong Memorial Hospital. Surrounded by friends and family, prayers are very much appreciated. Clayton has always been one to bring smiles to everyone's faces, even in the toughest conditions. Clayton is a NY Army National Guard Veteran with one deployment to Kuwait in 2012. Clayton is one of the most avid outdoor enthusiasts you may ever meet. He spends a lot of time Kayak fishing, hunting waterfowl, and hunting predators. Hes a very dedicated father, spending as much time with his children as possible. Never a day goes by without the conversation turning to his children. Please keep Clayton in your prayers as this will be a trying time for him and his family.
Monroe County Sheriff's deputies say they responded to 390 near Exit 11 in the town of Rush around 11:40 p.m. for the report of a tow truck driver that had been hit by a vehicle.
Clayton was helping a stranded motorist, after recovering the vehicle he stepped off to the side of the road. As he was finishing up a truck lost control and hit the tow truck and Clayton.
He is currently at Strong Hospital in guarded condition.
We need your help to support him and his family. His daughter and 2 sons are devastated that their Dad did not come home from work this morning.

GoFundMe Sent us at Gates Towing an email on 12/1/2018 letting us know the campaign will be put on hold 12/14/2018 if we do not set up withdraws. We have decided to create a bank account in the name of Marsha Anderson and have Clayton be the beneficiary to the account since we are unable to open an account just in his name. The funds will be made available to Clayton as soon as he is able to make financial decisions and use the money as he feels appropriate. This account will be in the care of and managed by Gates Towing (Tony Ardillo, Timothy Matuszak, and Marsha Anderson). We have received donations outside of GoFundMe and will also be guarding for and depositing any checks we get right in to his account.
