Rally for Lee-Medical and Legal fees

Recovering from a suspected hate driven assault on November 22nd, a violent incident shook our lives. My twin, Lee, a masculine-presenting person, was viciously attacked while waiting in line for the women's restroom at a St. Louis gas station. We believe this was not just a random act of violence but possibly a hate crime motivated by LGBTQ bigotry.
The assault was horrifying. Without provocation, the attacker targeted them with hits and kicks, focusing entirely on Lee's face and head. They didn't have a chance to do anything but try to protect their head even as an employee attempted to pull them away, the attacker pulled them back to continue the assault. All the while half a dozen people stood around and watched. This occurred while Lee was working as an Uber driver, a job they can no longer perform due to the trauma and fear instilled by this attack.
The physical and emotional scars of this event are profound. Lee's recovery is compounded by the attacker's subsequent legal issues – a missed court hearing and a warrant for another offense. These developments have hindered our efforts to serve an order of protection, delaying the justice Lee deserves.
They now face mounting financial challenges: medical bills, lost income, and legal fees. We're reaching out for your support to help Lee through this difficult time, ensuring they can overcome these hurdles and find a measure of peace and security.
