Cindy Wright funeral

Ms. Cindy could best be described as the sweetest lady you will ever know. Absolutely selfless and putting her two daughters, Brooke and Kassidy, first. I got the pleasure of meeting Ms. Cindy in fifth grade when I became friends with Kassidy. It was in middle school when we learned that Kassidy had brain tumors and would need a serious surgery. These tumors are a result of a disease called Von Hippel Lindau. This is also when I learned that Ms. Cindy suffered from the same thing. Cindy had 4 surgeries in total because of this disease, but the last one she had she never really recovered from. Cindy had her last surgery on December 11th, 2015. This is when everything took a big turn. She lost her ability to eat real food and even speak. She spent time at Emory and Regency but she ended up in a nursing home because she wasn't showing any signs of improvement. It was about a week or so ago that Kassidy got a call saying Cindy was unresponsive and in the Macon hospital. Her tumors had hemorrhaged and she was drastically different than she was before. We were told there was no going back from this and she wasn't expected to live much longer. She was moved to a room in the hospital to be kept comfortable for her last few days, but she stuck around for longer than expected. She was then moved to a Hospice in Macon GA called Pine Point. She was here for 3 days until early this morning around 3 AM, Cindy decided it was finally time to let go. She spent her last days being showered with love by family and friends, and her daughters never left her side. Planning a funeral is never fun, and it doesn't help that they are extremely expensive. As a close friend to the family, I want to help any way I can. So please share this story and help this family. Thank you for taking the time to read!
