In Loving Memory of Mason Smith

It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of our fighter, Mason Smith. Mason went to sleep peacefully surrounded by family and friends on December 29, 2023 after a long battle with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.

Mason was a brave, inspiring, and at all times, hilarious boy who touched the hearts of everyone he met. Mason was passionate about hunting, fishing, video games, hot sauce, Halloween, and saw his Penn State family as his own.

Some of our fondest memories with Mason include getting soaked with water guns during THON weekend or at family picnics, attending PSU football games, riding roller coasters together at Hershey Park, going bowling, or trying hot sauce and jalapeños until someone cried.

We are incredibly grateful to the Smith family for sharing Mason with us, and for allowing us to be part of Mason's story.
