DMHS Scholars Advance to Yale!

Twelve Del Mar High School students are heading to Yale University this November to compete in the World Scholar's Cup Tournament of Champions!
These students qualified for the Tournament of Champions this past summer, where they successfully competed at the Global Round in Athens, Greece. The scholars competed in four events: team debate, collaborative writing, an individual multiple choice test, and a team quiz show competition.

Over half of our students are low income and greatly need your support. Our students have a love for learning and we hope you can continue to foster their intellectual curiosity by sponsoring a team or a student.
The cost per student is approximately $1,500. Here is a break down of the expenses:
Registration fee: $725
Airfare: ~$350
Accommodations: ~$300
Students need their funds by October 2017
