Hi All,
USA Shooting is pleased to announce that Dmitriy Shteyman has earned a spot for the 2015 ISSF World Cup Shooting Championships in MQS Category: 25 meter Rapid Fire Pistol (an Olympic event).
MQS (Minimum Qualification Score) is necessary to be able compete in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio and can be achieved only at the ISSF World Championships, World Cups and Continental Championships/Games.
These Championships will occur in Gabala, Azerbaijan, on August 6-16, 2015. This is a high honor for both Dmitriy and the US Shooting Team. We expect to compete very strongly in this event, and we’re especially excited about Dmitriy’s addition to the Team.
Dmitriy has performed admirably for us in the past, as he is the 2014 National Senior Champion in Rapid Fire Pistol, the silver medalist in Rapid Fire Air Pistol at the 2007 Canadian Airgun Grand Prix in Toronto, Canada, the bronze medalist at the US National Championships in Center Fire Pistol event in the past and 9 times US participant in the International Rapid Fire Week in Wiesbaden, Germany.
We’re also very impressed with Dmitriy’s involvement in the USA Shooting organized competitions as a volunteer. His contributions as a member of the Pistol Jury, Range Officer and Chief Range Officer in many USA World Cups were noteworthy, and his participation in every USA Shooting National Championships since 2002 helped both the USA Shooting and the Texas community.
If you have any questions about Dmitriy Shteyman’s participation or about the 2015 World Cup Shooting, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for supporting Dmitriy and the Team USA!
