Gaza Emergency Appeal Help My Family

Hello everyone, I am Ahmed Nabil Al-Madhoun, 25 years old, studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, fourth level, at Al-Quds Open University. I was supposed to graduate, but unfortunately the war prevented that. My family of 9 and I were living in the north of the Gaza Strip, safe and stable, but when the devastating war came, they asked us to evacuate to the south of the Gaza Strip, to a place with no shelter. This is where the great suffering began, as we took refuge in a torn, dilapidated tent, where there are no services here near the sea in the Al-Mawasi area.

We have been exposed to danger many times and unfortunately we are still exposed to the risk of death every day, perhaps not because of war and bombing, but there are many reasons, including famine, environmental pollution, severe cold, and malnutrition. I address my message to you, my family and I, and I hope that this campaign will be a hope for us to meet our needs, stay alive, and restore what the war machine has destroyed, and strengthen our steadfastness in the tents.

Here, my mother suffers from a disease in the retina, as she has not received her treatment since the beginning of the war, which is an injection (Evastin), which costs about $500. Unfortunately, my mother is losing her eye now. She appeals to you not to ignore our story, you are our hope after God.

The campaign donations will go to improving our lives, strengthening our steadfastness, compensating for our losses in the war, and treating my father who suffers from high blood pressure and rheumatoid arthritis, and my mother who suffers from diabetes and retinal disease... My family is my father, Nabil Al-Madhoun, age 60, my mother, Hanan Hassan Al-Madhoun, age 56, my brothers, Wassim Nabil Al-Madhoun, age 30, and Saed Nabil Al-Madhoun, age 27. I am Ahmed Nabil Al-Madhoun, age 25. My brother’s wife is Iman Muhammad Al-Madhoun, age 30. My brother’s children are Nabil Wasim Al-Madhoun, age 4, Muhammad Wasim Al-Madhoun, age 2, and Taim Wasim Al-Madhoun, age 1 year.
