Help Sara Reunite with Her Children

My dear friend Sara is trying to reunite with her children. Loving and creative, with cooking and caretaking inherent to her being, Sara is a devoted mother who has fallen on bad luck.

When the Maui fires happened, Sara, a Maui resident of 15 years, was unable to find an affordable home to rent to co-parent her two children. She left the island to build a new foundation close to her family in Texas so that her children could be part-time with her, and part-time in Maui with their father.

Unfortunately, a physically threatening abusive landlord left her running for safety, having to leave behind first, last, and deposit on the three-bedroom house that was to become the new home for her kids in Texas.

Unable to stay away from her children any longer, Sara needs to start fresh in Maui to reunite with her children. With her nest egg gone, and her relationship with her family strained from a history of emotional abuse, Sara is in need of generosity to help her get back on her feet.

Sara has temporary housing and temporary part-time work lined up on Maui. This money would help her to buy an older used car so she can get to and from her new job and aid her in obtaining long-term housing by providing a deposit and first month's rent.
