Do Good Do Better

Delta Gamma was founded on the principles of personal integrity, true friendship, and social responsibility and condemns all acts of bigotry, hate, racism and injustice. Delta Gamma encourages our sisters to stand up for what we believe in, especially in times of social injustice. We expect that our members show the best quality of character by being inclusive, fair, and supportive while not only speaking up against racism but also taking action and encouraging change. 

Miami Universities Delta Gamma chapter has decided that simply condemning the social injustice that permeates our society is not enough. We feel an organization of our size and amount of resources should be doing more. Please consider donating to this fund in which all proceeds will be split between Color of Change and HEARD.  Color of Change  leads campaigns that build real power for Black communities. They challenge injustice, hold corporate and political leaders accountable, commission game-changing research on systems of inequality, and advance solutions for racial justice that can transform our world. HEARD works to correct and prevent wrongful convictions of deaf/disabled people; end all forms of abuse and incarceration of people with disabilities. HEARD is deeply committed to and invested in increasing deaf/disabled peoples’ capacity to end all forms of systemic and structural oppression.

The ultimate mission of Delta Gamma is to 'Do Good'. However, we acknowledge right now and going forward that we must do better. Please listen to what’s being said, speak up, take action and always Do Good.
