Do It For Aidan! #doitforaidan

Aidan is a 13 year old boy who was born with a rare genetic disorder called Danon Disease. It is so rare that it is unknown as to how many individuals have Danon Disease, but it is believed to be less than 200 people in the whole country. Danon Disease causes skeleto-muscular weakness, motor issues, small stature, intellectual disabilities, vision problems, and cardiomyopathy. Despite this, Aidan's awesomeness and perseverance can only be matched by his sweet and beautiful parents! Anyone who has met this family for even a moment is immediately drawn to Eric and Rachel's strength, humor, selflessness, and dedication to their son​...and Aidan's adorableness doesn't hurt either!

Currently, the Schwarz family has the opportunity to travel to Philadelphia for Aidan to participate in a three-month, potentially life-saving gene therapy clinical trial. While this is obviously a wonderful opportunity for them all, let's face it, it would be challenging for anyone to uproot their lives for three months, especially considering both Eric and Rachel have new prospering careers AND they just became first-time homeowners only a matter of months ago. Everyone who knows and loves this family doesn't want them to have to think twice about mortgages, bills, or "real life" when their attention should be anywhere there is potential to help Aidan in any way. So if you can share, donate, pray, send good vibes, light a candle...ALL is appreciated by them and those who keep this family in their hearts every day!

And please know that any excess funds that the family doesn't need for bills and expenses related to traveling for the actual clinical trial, will go toward funding Aidan's current and future medical needs, mobility equipment, and various therapies.
