“A father is a daughter's first love, her forever hero”
Hello everyone.
It is with a heavy heart that we are setting up a Go Fund me for our wonderful, heart of gold, courageous dad who has been devastatingly diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer which has shattered our whole world and left us heartbroken beyond words.
Dad is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Our whole purpose is to help accommodate our dad’s needs going forward, to keep him safe and comfortable and to help him in anyway we need to regarding the care he will need to receive now and as he battles through his hardest fight.
We’re so grateful and thankful to be from a community of people who have reached out and asked to help in many ways and so hopefully this page will do just that.
Our Dad has always been recognised as a true gentleman, someone who always wants to help, someone to trust, someone that if your having a bad day you will be guaranteed to walk away with a smile of your face after “having a chat with Liam.” He has always been someone to bring so much positivity and light into any room he enters, not to mention the best fun!!
Dad was a huge part of the GAA for many years playing for both club and county, involved with training in schools, clubs both in Tipperary and outside it, Chair man for the “Fair of Cahir” to name just a few of the achievements we’re so proud of him for. Running a successful business, the Castle Arms, where he would have sponsored many teams, clubs and charitable organisations over the years and was always known for a sing song at the end of the night!
He always strived to help out with local clubs and be involved as much as he could in the town he was always so fond of, Cahir.
We will be donating to St Theresa’s hospital in Clogheen, where dad has been receiving exceptional care and attention during his treatment and for that we will be eternally grateful to them.
We would like to thank everyone for all their wonderful kind words for dad, words of encouragement and strength, he appreciates every single one of them.
In addition to this, we will also be having a 5KM walk/run for dad on the 20th of April at 2pm starting from the Cahir GAA pitch to the Swiss Cottage. Everyone is more than welcome to attend, if you can’t please take a walk anywhere you are in the world and by doing so you are showing your support for an amazing man and the most fantastic dad we could have ever asked for.
The Enright family.
