"Do the right thing" City of Ashland

Hi, Community of friends. My name is Tish Way and I am a senior citizen and 23-year resident of Ashland, Oregon. On October 30, 2022, I arrived home to find every room in my home filled with thousands of gallons of raw sewage, as a result of a City of Ashland sewage blockage and overflow. Four months after the catastrophe I've yet to receive any financial restitution from the City of Ashland, after losing all my food, personal hygiene items, all of my furniture, soft goods items and precious family heirlooms, approximately 90% of my personal belongings. The interior of my home has been completely gutted of all floors, cabinets, sinks, plumbing, sheetrock, interior doors, etc etc...The loss cannot be overestimated. I am asking for support with the daily bills, including rent and replacement of lost essential items, that have been accumulating as a result of this devastating catastrophe until the City of Ashland decides to "Do the right thing" and be responsible for my horrendous loss.
