Do the Right Thing! Ghana Medical Relief (GMR) Needs You!

I’m thrilled to announce that in July 2024, I am embarking on an unforgettable journey to Ghana, where I’ll be joining the Ghana Medical Relief Team (GMR) to spend a week volunteering and delivering vital healthcare services to underserved villages. While working in tandem with the GMR, I will strive to bridge the gap and provide Ghanaian citizens with access to essential medical care that is currently inaccessible to them. This includes life-changing treatment that has the power to transform their lives and bring hope to their hearts. By illuminating a path of healing that offers Ghanaians the prospect of reshaping their reality, every donation helps them achieve a healthy and fulfilling life!

The GMR operates as a non-profit humanitarian organization, committed to delivering healthcare to remote villages in Ghana. Our vision involves creating a cohesive healthcare network in Ghana, both domestically & internationally, that is tailored to the unique needs of its communities. The GMR works hand in hand with hospitals, churches, and organizations in the US/Canada to procure donated medical supplies and equipment for hospitals and clinics in Ghana. GMR is equipped to address diverse healthcare needs with a team composed of professionals specializing in various healthcare disciplines, such as General Medicine, Pediatrics, CPR Training, Dental, Urology, OB/GYN, Otolaryngology (ENT), General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pharmacy, Wound Care, Mental Health, and Health Education. GMR is on the precipice of implementing sustainable health care models and evidence-based medicine programs throughout Ghana, and every donation brings us one step closer to achieving this objective.

As a proud Ghanaian, born and raised for the first 18 years of my life, I am fortunate and extremely honoured to embark on this journey with GMR. Serving others and giving back to those in need has always been my passion, and this volunteering opportunity promises to be deeply fulfilling.
