Trey has had a debilitating migraine constantly since the evening of July 15th. He has seen multiple doctors, tried multiple meds and homeopathic remedies. Nothing has worked reliably. During this time he has missed a significant amount of work due to being unable to function beyond a very basic level. This past Wednesday, during the evening Kimberlee found him unresponsive and called 911. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he underwent several tests, none of which yielded definitive answers, and during which time words like stroke and seizure were mentioned repeatedly. The only things they learned were that he did not have a stroke or seizure after all, and that prolonged migraines alter the appearance of the white matter in the brain, which is evident in his MRI. In the past eight weeks, he has had two CT's, two MRI's on his head and neck, ultrasounds of his heart and carotid arteries, a Lumbar Puncture, and had numerous other tests. He was sent home yesterday without much in the way of answers or relief. I would like to ask you all to pray for them. Pray that they find an end of this pain and that Trey can return to work reliably. Pray that they find an answer for what caused this and how to prevent it. And pray for the strain on Kim (& Kim’s Lupus) taking care of Trey. This is a huge burden on them financially. While Trey has a job he loves he does not have any health insurance and as you can imagine the medical bills are now going to staggering. In addition to that Trey has not been able to work in over a month and has used up all of his vacation days and time off so is not bringing in an income at all right now. They could really use your help financially. Any little bit helps. If you find yourself called to donate please do so. If you prefer to give directly to them you can contact them in person or Kim’s sister Ellen. Thank you for your prayers.
