Doctors Within Borders (DWIB): Chapter 1

Hi my name is NateY. I personally was born and raised in the Bay Area, California and I have 15+ years of experience in entrepreneurship, technology, and community building. I will be the one in charge of this and have a several other people that will be joining in as board members, partners, and simply as allies where we can work together and bring DWIB into reality and nurture it to grow to its fullest potential.

We've been able to support 10 families with the help of 2 doctors as well as a growing local community of volunteers. We've been able to purchase tents, food, blankets, and of course medicine for those that needed it.

Doctors Within Borders Long Term Goals:

1) Pay doctors that have committed to being part of DWIB the average salary of the global average doctor salary of the top 25 countries which comes out to $90,000 a year.

2) Connect the doctors with a team of mentors: fellow doctors, business leaders, academics, even possibly media actors and celebrities to meet with them once a quarter. It’s a two way street to give these professionals a direct way of contributing mentorship and leadership advice

3) Build a team of student doctors that can work with the DWIB candidates to write research papers and have them published.

Those are the three long term goals for DWIB, currently there are immediate areas of focuses that we have deemed as our focus goals:

Doctors Within Borders Short Term Goals:

1) We want to give the children an immediate safe place to heal and rest.

2) We will be using some of these funds to make pay for the website development expenses.
