Documentary for Mr. Stan Schofield

We are raising funds to finance a film project documenting the life and work of Stan 'The Man' Schofield who has dedicated his life to educating, coaching and mentoring children and parents of our community.

Mr. Schofield has committed his time and energy to children nationally, but especially in the New Orleans metropolitan area for more than 60 years. Mr. Schofield is a motivational speaker, athletic coach and retired juvenile probation officer, who continues to tirelessly do his life's work.

Did you know that Mr. Schofield has also been in the Civil Rights struggle close to 70 years? The story needs to be told!

He continues to be a multi-generational athletic Coach of athletes who have gone on to play in the NFL, NBA and compete and medal in the Olympic games.

Anyone who has been impacted through his speeches, counseling, coaching, or his advice, or shed a tear from one of those famous speeches, were calling on you to assist in funding this artistic project. Every penny counts!

Hear from his contemporaries, classmates, life-long friends and those he's mentored of the impact Mr. Schofield has had on their lives.

The project is being developed by a young cinematographer who grew up in the Kennedy Heights(KAWK) athletic program, Mr. Juan Walker. We'll give insight on KAWK as well. Join us in getting this project off the ground and providing funding to get the story told and told as it should be!
