Searching for Korean War veterans by Rami

To honor Korean War Veterans, <Project Soldier>, a nonprofit organization, travels to the Korean Peninsula, the U.S., and the U.N. participating and supporting countries to record their legacies. Since 2017, <Project Soldier> has recorded nearly 2,700 Korean War Veterans around the world through video interviews and photographs.
"Freedom is not free." Over the years, we have met many veterans and learned where their pride comes from. It's from the people of Korea. More than 70 years ago, they fought in a war in a small, unnamed country to defend freedom and sow the seeds of democracy. And today, Korea has seen remarkable development and growth, and veterans have seen it all. Korea's prosperity has been built by the people of Korea, who have grown up knowing the value of the freedom and democracy that the veterans risked their lives to protect.
The experiences of Korean War Veterans teach us valuable lessons of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism. The peace and freedom we enjoy today is a result of the dedication of countless veterans.
We don't want their sacrifices to be forgotten, which is why we want to remember them by listening to and recording their stories.
It's a step toward healing the wounds of the Korean War and creating a better future for the next generation.
In order for <Project Soldier> to continue, to record the stories of Korean War Veterans and pass them on to the next generation, we need your help.
We look forward to having you join us on this journey.
Your support keeps us moving forward. Thank you!
