Ramadhan Campaign: Give the Gift of Hope

Millions of families are struggling with hunger, inadequate shelter, and a lack of basic necessities. This Ramadhan, let’s come together to bring hope to those in need.

What Your Contributions Will Do:

Relieve the pain and suffering of families by providing:

1. Food Aid: Essential food packages to families facing hunger, ensuring they have enough to break their fasts and sustain them throughout Ramadhan.

2. Shelter Materials: Helping displaced families rebuild their lives by providing materials to create safe, stable shelters.

3. Medical Care: Assisting the poor and needy with access with medical care and treatment

4. Cash Assistance: Providing financial assistance (for Zakat see separate fundraiser)

These families have no source of income and depend heavily on aid. They live in famine like conditions.

How You Can Help:

£50: Provides a food package to sustain a family for the entire month.

£100: Supplies essential materials for a family’s shelter.

£250: Funds a share in a water well, providing clean water to an entire community.

Doers of Good is run by a small number of individuals that took “love thy neighbour to heart”. A team based in Aden who couldn’t stand by and do nothing while those in their community live in famine like conditions, and a team based in the UK who do the bulk of the fundraising (Amena Hussain and Samah Mohammed). All our distributions are published on social media (see @doersofgood_yemen ) or via private message on Whatsapp for those who have dealt with us directly. This makes us accountable so that you can see we are delivering on our projects. All aid is bought from local markets to support the local people

The Situation On the Ground:

The UN says Yemen is experiencing the world's worst humanitarian crisis.

It says 4.5 million people, one in seven of the population, have been displaced. while 24.1 million people, 80% of the population, are in need of humanitarian aid and protection.

The UN says that tens of thousands of people in Yemen are currently living in famine-like conditions, while some six million people are on the verge of famine.
