Dog with atlantoaxial subluxation needs your help

Henlo everyone,
My name is Gommie. I am a 9 year old toy poodle. Few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with Atlantoaxial subluxation (AA). AA is a spinal disorder which causes abnormal movement in  first two vertebrae within the neck. This instability of the abnormal movement causes compression of the spinal cord which lead me to some scary changes in my body. 

One day, I went to the park with my mom like any other day to play with the ball. My mom threw the ball and I went to chase it. That’s when I felt the crazy pain in my neck. I squealed really really loud and I fell on my side. I couldn’t getup. I was really scared and shocked. My mom came running to me but I couldn't get up to lick her face! I couldn’t hold my neck up, I started to drool A LOT on my moms arm and I couldn’t move my legs. I watched my mom cry a lot but I didn’t know why. She took me to the emergency and did many tests on me. That’s when it all started. 

After that, I had 4 more episodes like this one but it got worse and worse everytime. I couldn’t stand or walk anymore. 

Within one week, I went to the emergency three times, had to meet the neurologist and get MRI. That cost my mom A LOT of money. Right now I am in treatment but the doctor said it’s a 50/50 chance that the treatment willwork on me. And even if it did, it will not be permanent because it can happen to me again at any point in my life. The best way to treat me is surgery but that will cost my mom approximately $7000 more on top of the $5000 she spent on me already. The doctor said if things get worse, I could be completely paralyzed or even die. 

Now I spend most of my days sleeping or relaxing with my mom. She stopped going to work because of me.

My mom needs your help. I don’t want to be in pain anymore and I don’t what to see her cry because of me. Can you please help us?
