Dogman Short Film
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Grace Heckenlively. For the past few months my co-director/co-writer, Gavin Carroll, and I have been writing, filming, and building a Dogman suit for our short film, Dogman.
Since we'll be filming in an open field after dark and performing dangerous stunts: money will be spent on lighting/camera gear, props, further costuming, and stunt safety. We'd also like to hire a composer and editor. We have spent about three hundred dollars on the film already. Any amount of support will be greatly appreciated and used to enhance the quality of the film.
Dogman follows Oscar in the wake of his girlfriend's death as he discovers the dark history of their town and seeks to expose it by killing the titular creature. While the film isn't fully accurate to lore surrounding possibly real Dogmen, the short is from Oscar's perspective; a perspective that can be built upon through future installments. The film is expected to be around twenty minutes long and a sequel would be around the same length.
