Do Good Date Night
Donation protected
In 2015, I created Do Good Date Night, a non-profit event series that combines volunteering with date night. Nearly three years later, we've now hosted 17 sold-out events and facilitated over 800 volunteer hours and thousands of donation dollars to such organizations as Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, Clean the World, Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill, Feeding Children Everywhere and Harvest Time International.
We've become a gateway for giving, and know that 21% of our Do Good Date Night participants return to our nonprofit partners to volunteer more of their time and to donate money. Plus, we're giving couples a unique way to reconnect with each other, to meet other likeminded couples, and to contribute to their community in a fun and meaningful way.
This year we are expanding across North America, and currently have events planned for Indiana, Ohio, New York and Louisiana.
But we need some funding to grow. I’ve started a Go Fund Me campaign to raise the initial funds to begin to build a small infrastructure that would allow me to grow and scale this 100% nonprofit concept.
After being featured in Good Housekeeping magazine last year, I received an enormous number of emails from people asking me to bring the Do Good Date Night concept to their town. Your funds will help me do just that and more!
I'll be using these funds within the next 60 days as I begin to expand outside of Orlando. Every bit counts, even contributions as little as $10 will make a huge difference.
If you believe in this concept, and me, please pitch in some dollars. I would truly appreciate it.
