Doing it....The Grace Way!
In mid-July our beautiful, funny, cheeky 14 year old niece, Grace, was hit by a car at high speed on her way home from school. Her survival on that day was due to a series of small miracles - from passing medics and air ambulances to the amazing staff at Bristol Children's Hospital A&E. Her ongoing treatment since that day at the Bristol Children's Hospital has been extraordinary, and is a facility to be nationally proud of.
A lot of the equipment used by Grace in her rehabilitation is funded by the hospital charity The Grand Appeal. This same charity offers a lifeline to parents and siblings going through the unthinkable by giving them a 'hotel' room to stay in directly opposite the hospital. To try to repay even a fraction of the care and love Grace has received, we are fundraising for Bristol Hospital's Grand Appeal. In order to do this, The Buckley's are planning on pushing themselves to the max, just like Grace, and walk the 102 miles of the Cotswold Way over 6-8 non-consecutive days. We would really appreciate any support you're able to give us towards this goal.
Grace continues to show us every day what a fighter she is, it's the least we can do.
