Dorothy Stringer Staff Team - for Dolawen Outdoor Centre
Dolawen is an outdoor centre, owned by Dorothy Stringer School and is situated on a working farm in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The centre is managed by The Stringer Trust and relies on donations to keep running.
Being in the heart of the mountains, Dolawen is the ideal base for outdoor activities. Mountain walking, abseiling, canoeing, orienteering, sea cliff traversing, climbing and gorge walking are just a few of the activities that students can enjoy. Over the last few years, hundreds of Year 7 students, from all backgrounds, have been able to visit the area and experience these new and enriching activities that we can offer them in this fantastic location.
The centre is now in need of some major updates and renovations to keep it useable for future students. If there is anything you can donate towards helping us keep the centre going it would be very much appreciated.
