Deja Lewis is a beautiful young woman who has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer. Deja is a recent 2016 graduate from Oswego East High School in Oswego, IL. Students and staff are donating money to support Deja during her treatment. Deja was scheduled to attend Illinois State University and it is the goal of Oswego East High School students and staff to help Deja recover and eventually attend Illinois State University. Deja's mother passed away from cancer in the spring of 2016 but Deja has been been brave, bold, and confident as she continued to pursue her dreams. The "Dollars For Deja" event will take place Monday, September 19 through Thursday, September 22 at Oswego East High School. You may donate on Go Fund Me starting today.
