Dolores Bike and Skate Park

You have the opportunity to make a difference in Southwest Colorado!
Joe Rowell Park is about to be a whole lot more fun. Bring your bike, skateboard, skates, or scooter and get ready to ride on the new bike park, pump track and skate park. After rounds of town-wide surveys and community outreach, the bike-loving people of Dolores have spoken. So, a group of citizens, city council members, and local action sports lovers came together to make it happen.
Now we need your help to get the project rolling.
This new asset will benefit our town, Montezuma County, and the entire diverse population of the four corners. The park will consist of jump lines, skills obstacles, an asphalt pump track, and a modern concrete skatepark. This professionally designed and built park will last for decades thanks to the innovative work of The American Ramp Company. It will provide a safe space for you and your kids and encourage healthy activity for riders of all abilities.
Our first fundraising goal of $30,000 will fund a professional design and assistance with grant writing. We will use this design to gain access to state and national grant funding. The more donations that we receive locally, the better our chances of getting larger grant funding.
We’re hoping to use skilled, local, volunteer labor to begin construction of the bike park this summer. Construction of the skate park and asphalt pump track will follow as funds allow. The American Ramp Company will handle the actual construction, with assistance from local volunteers.
Every little bit helps- even if it's just a dollar. Please help us spread the word and give what you can to jump-start this important project.
We can't do it without you! Contribute towards the first ever Dolores Bike and Skate Park, now is your chance. Thank you so much for your kind and generous donation.
If you would like to make a larger donation, we will be able to provide tax documentation. For more information, please reach out and we can get you connected to these resources.
