Bring Dolores & Joel Rodriguez Sr. home

Dolores & Joel are currently in Mazatlan, Mexico. On May 30, 2020, our worst fear came to life and Dolores tested positive for COVID-19 after 2 weeks of feeling under the weather with all the common symptoms. The worry and pain we feel knowing she contracted the virus is indescribable because of her current health conditions and her past illnesses. We know this is very serious and will do whatever we have to do to help her. She is currently getting treatment at a private hospital, isolated with no outside contact. For those of you that know these two, they are some of the most well-loved individuals and both amazing parents, grandparents, friends, aunts & uncles, and soon to be in-laws. We know Dolores is a warrior and we need her to keep the fighting mentality to overcome this virus. It is so crucial that we keep Joel as safe and healthy as possible at this time given his medical history, although not even a pandemic could keep these two away from each other. 

We started this fundraiser seeking funds to transport them both together via air ambulance directly to Santa Barbara to continue treatment and isolation. Dolores is too ill to travel by car and needs immediate medical attention available along with a ventilator. It is also imperative that she is here in the U.S. to receive treatment by her doctor that knows her history and specializes in her chronic health issues.  We need them home with us and healthy. Funds will also cover any miscellaneous medical expenses not covered by insurance or other COVID plans.
