Dolton's medical bills & recovery

Donation protected
*UPDATE*
The doctors had tried taking Dolton out of sedation a few times. It only lasted a few minutes before he would get aggressive and be a danger to himself and the nurses. He has consistently had high blood pressure throughout this whole process so far, and mixing that with the highest dose of sedation meds was putting him at risk for stroke. On Wednesday he started a new therapy called ECT to help control the anger and aggression he was having when coming out of sedation. With this new therapy, they have been able to reduce the sedation meds. Thursday, Dolton was able to sit on the side of his bed and work with physical therapy without any issues. He is back to squeezing hands, shaking his head in response to questions, and being more relaxed while doing so. The doctors say that they have never not seen this treatment work on someone, and are hopeful for a good outcome for Dolton. His room is still being kept dark to keep stimulation low. He still has lots of therapy and more surgeries to go, but for now he is on the right track. Progress is slowly being made. Please keep praying for him.

Dolton Johnson was in a tragic car accident on February 4th, on his way to a fishing trip with his brother and two friends. Due to his injuries he was sedated. He has suffered severe facial injuries, and multiple broken bones. Dolton had his first facial surgery yesterday and 2nd facial surgery today, to start his long road to recovery. With many more procedures to follow.

Dolton's life has been turned upside down this week, and this page was made to help Dolton with the financial burdens caused by this terrible accident. All donations will be put towards the upcoming medical expenses he will incure.

Please come together and help us show Dolton that he is not alone in his time of need.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dolton and his family in their time of need.
