Dominic Eastridge’s Celebration of Life
Donation protected
I am writing this on behalf of Dominic's Mother, Isa Morua.
Dominic James Eastridge was 27 years old. He was an artist, a musician and a lover. On May 16th, Dominic was murdered in Louisville, Kentucky. At this time, there are very few answers regarding the situation as it is an ongoing investigation. It is very important to Isa, as well as everyone who knew and loved Dominic that he be laid to rest in a way that honors who he was as a person. A conventional funeral will not be held, as Dominic was not a conventional human. We are in the process of organizing a memorial, which will take place in the near future, although there is not a set date. This memorial will be held in Lansing Michigan, where he was born. Our hope is to embody Dominic’s spirit and soul through his art, along with the art of his loved ones. There are no words capable of conveying the pain so many are in as a result of this tragedy. There has been an outpour of friends, family and acquaintances asking what they can do to help. We are hoping to raise funds to support Dominic’s Mother through the loss of her only child. For those who are able to contribute, the funds raised will be used in a variation of ways. From the cost of cremation, the memorial, along with the day to day expenses of his family - trying to stay afloat while grieving and temporarily out of work.
More updates will be posted as we receive more information, and as we develop an exact plan regarding the memorial.
Much love
UPDATE: Due to the investigation progressing quicker than expected, funds will be partially used to cover the travel expenses of driving between Michigan and Kentucky over the following weeks.
Thank you all so much for the support and love
