Dominic Robinson-Neal a Community Champion

The Robinson-Neal Boxing Academy was founded 6 years ago by Dominic Robinson-Neal to bring his son and a team of talented amateur and professional boxers under one roof. As the Academy grew, Dominic has dedicated most of his training resources and skills to at-risk and low income youth and to fellow veterans combating PTSD and depression - offering them a safe and structured space to exercise their bodies and minds.
Through this service to his community, Dominic consistently brings a dozen young men and women aged 4 to 21 through the Academy who preform at the amateur level ranking nationally - like Miykael Parker who, at only 13 years old, is ranked #1 Nationally in the 119 lbs category and is the 2019 SC Junior Olympics Champion.

You Can Serve the Common Good
With diminished gym membership due to the COVID-19 pandemic and because Robbinson-Neal - a 20 year veteran himself - was denied the Paycheck Protection Loan this Spring, Dominic's volunteer program for these exceptional kids and U.S. veterans is at risk. Together, Dominic and I are launching a sponsorship program so we can all support this community. Don't we all want to see these young folks excel and make sure our veterans are offered the best quality and range of care after their service to our country?

Get to Know Dominic
Dominic was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved with his family to South Carolina at age 10 to be near his grandparents. He played football at Eau Claire High School, and upon graduating embarked on a 20 year career in the Army Rangers 75th Regiment, where he began boxing. His son DeAndre Robinson-Neal followed in his father's footsteps, boxing from 7 years old, and with his father as Coach went pro at 17 and advancing to 20-0 Super Middleweight Contender nationally.
The service that this outstanding veteran is providing his community is automatic for him. He has offered a safe and encouraging environment for several generations of boys and girls and fellow veterans assimilating home form duty. The Academy is shaped by Dominic's philosophy that there are a million trainers out there, but teachers are hard to come by.
