Don and Shirley Webster Relief Fund

Don and Shirley have been married for 42 years but this past year and a half have probably been the hardest ...yet has brought them closer together and shown how much one depends on their spouse, best friend and true love. For those that don't know Shirley had a heart attack in July of 2015, was diagnosed with cancer in Jan 2016, rebounded from kidney failure in January of 2017 and now just recently suffered a stroke that has made her long road to recovery even longer. The past year has been dominated with chemo infusions, long hospital stays and many surgeries. Her recovery has been slow and filled with many setbacks.
Don has managed to continue to work as much as possible, run the household, keep up with numerous Dr. appointments, administering medication and running tube feedings. He has done an amazing job holding everything together, including himself while caring for her and encouraging her to get better. These two are some of the most giving, generous and warm hearted people that you will ever meet.
Throughout the years, she has worked at a variety of restaurants and general stores in her small hometown - customers always know that when Shirley is on they can expect a lively, entertaining conversation. If you know her you know she is always laughing and always has a warm smile to greet you with. She loves to joke, jest and kid around but since January 2016 that laugh has diminished and the recent stroke has stolen it completely from us.
Expenses have increased and will continue to do so in the length and growing needs of her care. The outpouring of love and prayers has been amazing, but please donate if you can to help ease a little of the financial stress that they both now face.
