This memorial donation page is in memory of Don Bauer, a husband and father who sacrificed his life to save his wife, Kate, during the flash floods of Hurricane Ida.

Don loved volleyball and the friendships he formed there. He played for many years and it was his favorite sport. He was a strong supporter of youth sports and coached soccer and volleyball as his kids, Darby and Sophie, grew up.

This page is to raise funds for a volleyball tournament in his memory in Spring 2022, and all remaining proceeds from this donation page and from the tournament will go to the Moravian University women's volleyball team, of Bethlehem, PA. He was especially proud to be a volleyball dad.
