Don Knapp Artist

My name is Daphne Gaylord, I am an artist at Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park . I was lucky enough to be invited into studio #3 Don Knapps studio as a partner. Don is a treasured member of Spanish Village, Don's contribution to art is huge as well as his kindness and generosity which is always given with a smile. Don's medical bills have been growing and are starting to outweigh his income,  due to a recent hospital stay for treatment.  As I write this Don is again entering the hospital for treatment of his diabetes. Don has devoted his life to art, his grandmother was part of the group that started Spanish Village in the 1930's, as a young five year old boy Don pulled his shiny red Radio Flyer wagon, selling his paintings door to door on the streets of La Mesa, California. Don is the kind of person who would give you his last dollar if he thought you needed it more, please help me return this kindness by donating. Every little bit helps. What is lacking in "Medical Insurance" let us provide from the goodness of our hearts.
All funds will be used to pay for medical bills and the expensive medications it is necessary for Don to take. The funds will immediatley start  paying overdue bills and current bills.
Your donations would mean a great deal to me and those that care about Don. As we all know stress can impede wellness, if we can all work together to relieve Don's financial stress, the sooner he will hopefully recover and myself as well as others would be so thankful to have Don back painting in Spanish Village where he belongs.
