Don Macomber on his journey

We are raising funds for Don Macomber

After retiring from his career with Concours Motors in Milwaukee, Don pursued serving others by joining Red Cross. He has assisted with many disaster relief efforts throughout Wisconsin in Lomira, Lady Smith, Milwaukee and around the country. His first major relief effort was in New York after 911. He also served after hurricane Rita and in California with the forest fire relief. He has always been very active both at home and in the community.

Don is a Hartford Citizens Police Academy member and has worked with the Explorers Youth Program and CERT of Washington County.

Unfortunately, at 84, he was given the news he had ALS. His physical abilities have declined over the past couple of years, and we need to make sure he has the equipment and assistance he needs going forward. A few items we will need include a stairlift inside the house, a ramp for outside, an electric wheelchair and a handicap accessible vehicle.
