Expected Funeral for Don Passmore

July 2020 Don Passmore was diagnosed with Esophageal Adenocarcinoma and is currently in Hospice living out his last days of this journey.

Don, 59 y/o, husband of 35 years to his wife, Jean, a father of 3, as well as a grandfather of 3.

He is a lifetime resident of Searcy County, Arkansas, never having lived more than 20 miles from his birthplace.

An avid ham operator and enthusiast, over the years Don has worked closely with the Searcy County Sheriff's Office as well as volunteered state and nationwide amid natural disaster emergency cleanup/search/rescue efforts such as the May 11, 2011 EF5 tornado which swept through Joplin, Missouri.

Don's Esophageal Adenocarcinoma was related to a year-long battle of progressively worsening ability to swallow leading to a 100-pound weight loss.

Unfortunately, after a year and a half of a cancer-free diagnosis, it has returned with a vengeance. Over the last few months, Don has gone from a spry active man to a man staring death in the face.

Every dime to cover the cost of outstanding hospital expenses and the upcoming funeral. Any leftover from this will help Jean (Don's Wife) as she has been a lifelong housewife and does not currently have an income.
