Don't Let Cancer Beat Paula Hader

Earlier this year Paula began experiencing unexplained nausea and discomfort. After a seemingly interminable series of tests, scans, and other procedures she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. She begins treatment July 31st, beginning with radiation and chemotherapy, followed by surgery. In the face of this devastating news, Paula has been incredibly strong and positive.
Why do we care so much about Paula?
As the director of a small non-profit - Senior Citizen's Activities, Inc. - her passion and dedication have a positive impact on hundreds of individuals. She has played a significant role in transforming the Center into a vibrant place where the local senior population can find fitness activities, fun and games, travel opportunities, social connections, and a sense of community. Paula is a kind and generous soul, who loves the people she serves through her work.
For those of you who know Paula, you know she would be the first one at your side to help. As her friends, we are devastated. She brings so much to our lives.
With limited insurance coverage, she is facing significant personal costs. Her salary is very modest and she doesn't receive any benefits. Her deductible is $7,900 and her out of pocket maximum is $15,800. It is our goal to help her defray as much of this financial burden as possible.
As a community, we have an incredible opportunity to support our dear friend in her biggest time of need. Let's help her through this difficult journey so she can return to doing what she loves - helping others.

Thank you to everyone who is praying and sending positive vibes. Your monetary contributions are appreciated very much.
