Hi my name is Kim and I’m fundraising for my dad .

As you can probably tell by the picture I’ve included , his laughter and how he joked, especially at himself, constantly throughout his life is one of many things I will remember most about him. Along with being a grandfather to my children and regifting his love of guitar and music to my sons , Bobby and Brandon. They always credit him for the passion he shared with them. My dad loved his music. It was his passion in life. He played in a band with his brothers The Sucessions. . They played all types of music, but he loved The Ventures music the most. I grew up listening and dancing to their music. My dad’s eyes would light up every time he listened to the recordings of their music. All his brothers are gone now with exception of his baby brother, Richard.

My dad never met a stranger. He loved to hug. He loved to talk. I remember when I was growing up my mom would send each one of us girls ( brother was little). To tell dad it’s time to go home. It would take about an hour of that before mom was successful. ❤️

for me personally, my dad used to say “no one is better than you. Everyone puts their pants on the same way”. I carried that with me all throughout my life. Then passed that wisdom on to my children. Some might say I’m a lot like him. To that I would say , thank you.

Debbie,Donna and Donnie all have their special moments and stories they can add . Our dad will live on in each of us .

My mother and him have been married for 65 years. Times like these are very stressful on several different levels, but being able to lay my dad to rest in a safe and close place for my mom and family to visit him is very important. My dad is currently in hospice care and the doctors say there isn’t anything else they can go for him.

The cost to bury my dad is $13,000 . With his $5000 insurance, leaves a cost of $8000 for me and my siblings. My dad never asked for anything his entire life that he didn’t work for. So it’s not easy reaching out and asking for help.
