In loving memory of Donald Gibbons Jr.

On December 28th, 2023 my father, Donald, unfortunately suffered from a cardiac arrest and his was heart stopped for 12 minutes before being resuscitated. After fighting for nearly a week, we received the unfortunate news that his brain was without oxygen for too long and would not be able to survive without life support. To respect his wishes, we made the extremely difficult decision to take him off life support and allow him to continue his journey into the afterlife.

Donald Gibbons Jr. was an amazing and selfless man, who would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger. Anyone who knew Don knew him as a kind, loving, and comical man, who dedicated his life to loving and caring for his wife, Sherry, and three daughters, Nicole, Ashley, and Kailee. Any donation helps us to pay for expenses accrued in the hospital, his Celebration of life, and helping us return to a semblance of normalcy without.

While he may not be with us physically, he will always be in our hearts and watching over us. He will be deeply missed by many, and was truly and deeply loved.
