Hi my name is Kitty. Donald Schultz is a very special friend/husband. On Wednesday March 27th Donald took the family dog outside he slipped and fell. The dog (who had his eye removed 6 days before this) for some reason started biting his face and ripped his right side almost off including his right ear. He was in surgery for 6 hours there was a flap they were able to re attach most for his right side, alot of his ear was missing He is still in the hospital ,today (4-3-2024)I got a call this morning he had to be put on ventilation as his breathing was teal bad, they are testing for infections. I tried to go back to work but just cried so i left work early, I now have off work till April 7th. I'm am so devastated that this had happened to my best friend. Anything helps please...
Update 4-10-2024
Still on ventilator but they said he is stable and improving everyday. I haven't been to see him since he got covid. I made the decision to put our dog down on the 8th ,2 days ago. This all had been so mentally challenging for me. We lost a dog in October he had cancer then we lost another dog the day after Christmas to old age, and then this happens. My job has been wonderfully understanding, co workers and the managers keep checking on me, I am forcing myself to go back to work tomorrow 4-11 to get some normalcy back in my life keep us in your prayers. I know Donald is missing everyone. I Plan on seeing him this Friday so will update everyone on more at that time
