CBS fundraiser for an El Salvadorian family

Hi CBS!! As some of you know, I recently went on a trip to El Salvador where we visited Chiltiupan - a very poor region in the country where 40% of the families there do not have access to electricity or running water and many, many families do not have a roof over their heads. The people there were unbelieveably kind, friendly and grateful for all the help we provided and it inspired me to come back and try to help out more. If everyone in our class donates $40, we could raise enough money to put a roof over a family there - this is a significant upgrade for a family who today might live in the dirt under a plastic bag for protection from the rain. If we raise enough money, the home will be called "the Columbia home" and if anyone would want to go visit El Salvador and meet the family - I'm happy to take them there!
